These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform operated by Granite Elite Security Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- "User" means any individual who accesses the Platform, including staff, guards, client contacts, and administrators.
- "Organisation" means the entity that has contracted with Granite Elite Security for compliance services.
- "Content" means any data, text, images, documents, or other materials submitted, uploaded, or generated through the Platform.
2. Account Registration & Security
Access to the Platform is by invitation only. User accounts are created and managed by authorised administrators. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not share your login credentials with any other person.
- You must notify your administrator immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose — compliance management, form submissions, incident reporting, and related activities. You must not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
- Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or other users' access.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form or report.
- Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including its design, code, graphics, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to Granite Elite Security Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for its intended purposes during the term of your access.
Content submitted by Users remains the property of the respective Organisation. By submitting Content, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the Platform's services.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal data. Our collection, use, and storage of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability & Maintenance
We endeavour to keep the Platform available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by your Organisation in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify Users through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
